Hello, and welcome to Ashley’s Ride, a website created in loving memory of our daughter, Ashley Nicole Sexton. Ashley was diagnosed with a devastating disease called Neurofibromatosis (NF). At the age of 21, she died during her third surgery from this disease.
Ashley’s family and friends coordinated the first annual “Ashley’s Ride,” a benefit motorcycle ride, dinner and auction to not only help raise awareness of NF, but raise money to help find a cure so that others like her don’t have to suffer and lose their precious life to NF.
The first ride was held July 26, 2008. Hundreds of bikers participated in the event, which raised thousands of dollars. All proceeds went to NF Research.
The fight continues on! On July 25, 2009 the 2nd annual “Ashley’s Ride” began at the Press Box in 
Mancelona. The details of the annual ride are elsewhere in this site.
